WEDDING PLANNING TOOLS
Turn the saved ideas into a conversation.
Jinya
You may have a collection of places, photographs and references that make perfect sense to you, even if they do not yet look like a wedding plan. That is useful material. The next step is finding what connects it.
A few words beside the references can tell us a great deal: what draws you to a place, how a photograph makes you feel, or which part you’d love to share with your guests. You may notice that very different images are expressing the same wish. There’s no need to turn them into a finished plan before we meet.
Give each of you a little space in the brief
It can help to each make a short note about what you’re looking forward to, then compare. One of you may be thinking about the ceremony; the other about bringing friends together for several days. Both belong in the conversation.
Keep the differences in the conversation. They often tell us more than a perfectly coordinated set of references.

Let a digital tool help you organize
A planning tool can help group your ideas and prepare questions. If you use one, you might ask:
Help us organize the wedding ideas below into shared priorities, different preferences and questions for our planner. Use only what we provide, and label assumptions clearly.
For this exercise, general ideas are enough; leave out private guest information. Suggestions about availability, ceremony permissions or prices still need confirmation with the people responsible for them.
Bring us what you have noticed
Perhaps the garden matters because you want everyone outdoors together. Perhaps the dinner references are really about having time for conversation. Tell us that part, along with the images or places that helped you see it.
For couples hoping to work with us, our personal reply includes our Collections and Wedding Planning guides. If availability and our approach suit your plans, we’ll invite you to a complimentary one-hour Zoom after you’ve reviewed them. Your ideas don’t need to be finished to begin that conversation.
