WEDDINGS & ELOPEMENTS IN NISEKO, HOKKAIDO

Come for the mountains. Bring a wedding into the journey.

Photography by 37 Frames

You may already have a Niseko you know through winter visits, or the mountains may be somewhere you’ve wanted to experience together for years. Getting married here gives you a new reason to come, and the pleasure of bringing your people with you.

Our work here includes an autumn wedding at Setsu Niseko. We love that there’s more than one season to imagine: different light, different ways to spend time outside, and a stay that can feel quite different from one visit to the next.

37 Frames plans weddings and elopements in Niseko around the place you’re drawn to and the time you want together. Whether you’re bringing guests or traveling as two, the ceremony is part of a trip you should be looking forward to.

Begin with somewhere you would love to stay

For a destination wedding, accommodation is part of the invitation. We look at how a property gathers people: where everyone meets on arrival, where dinner happens, and whether the spaces support the evening you want.

A ryokan stay is one possibility within our wider Hokkaido planning. We look at how the rooms, dining and shared spaces connect with the landscape, and whether the ceremony arrangements and privacy suit your group and dates. The right stay should be somewhere you’d be pleased to spend the hours between the wedding events, too.

A welcome event can give everyone time to catch up. The days around the wedding can remain open for different interests. The most enthusiastic skier and the friend chiefly interested in a very good lunch both deserve a trip they enjoy.

Winter shapes the whole experience

Warmth is part of hospitality. We think about the places you get ready, how people travel, how long they spend outdoors and what welcomes them afterwards. The indoor setting deserves a place in your imagination from the beginning.

Our Creative Team considers the light and photographs alongside those arrangements. An outdoor portrait and a reception inside can tell different parts of the same story. We agree access and weather alternatives with the property, so the photographs belong to a day you’re comfortable enjoying.

There is another Niseko beyond winter

If autumn or the greener months are drawing you here, tell us what you are hoping to do. The season changes the relationship between the property, the food, time outdoors and the wedding itself.

We explore the date and setting together before recommending the shape of the celebration. A longer stay can give everyone room to enjoy the region without turning every day into an event.

An elopement with a stay around it

For the two of you, the mountains can become part of a very personal visit. We’ll ask what draws you here, where you’d like to make your promises and what you’d love to do afterwards. You may want to stay close to one property or give yourselves time to explore.

The core elopement fee includes planning, 37 Frames photography and most location permits. Accommodation, travel, dining and other additions are separate. Film is optional.

For weddings with guests, planning and photography are scoped separately. Full planning includes the agreed wedding-related guest coordination.

Tell us which season you keep thinking about, and who you would like beside you. That gives us somewhere good to begin.
